 Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the former Prime Minister of India’s.  He was active in politics throughout his life.  After Lal Nehru, Atal Bihari Bajpayee was the only leader who held the post of Prime Minister for three consecutive times.  He was one of the most respected and inspiring politicians of India.  Vajpayee also served as a member of several different councils and organizations.  Vajpayee was an influential poet and sharp orator.  As a leader, he was known for his clean image, democratic and liberal views.  In 2015, he was awarded the highest civilian honor of India.

Early Life  : –

 Atal Bihari Vajpayee was born’s on 25 , December 1924 in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.  He was one of the seven children of his father Krishna Bihari Vajpayee and mother Krishna Devi.  His father was a scholar and school teacher.  After completing his elementary education, Vajpayee went to Laxmibai College and DAV College in Kanpur for further studies.  From here he obtained a master’s degree in economics.  For further studies, he filled the application from Lucknow but could not continue his studies.  He has RSS  Joined the magazine published by.  Though he did not marry, he adopted Namita and Nandita, two daughters of BN Kaul.

 Vajpayee’s political journey began as a freedom fighter.  He was arrested along with other leaders for participating in the ‘Quit India Movement’ in 1942.  At the same time, he met Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, who is the Bharatiya Jana Sangh ie BJS.  Was the leader of  Vajpayee supported his political agenda.  Mookerjee soon died due to health problems and B.J.S.  Vajpayee took over the command and carried forward the ideas and agenda of this organization.  In 1954, he was elected Member of Parliament from Balrampur seat.  Despite his young age, Vajpayee’s detailed perspective and knowledge helped him gain respect and a place in the political world.  In 1977, when Morarji Desai’s government was formed, Vajpayee was made the foreign minister.  Two years later, he traveled there to discuss relations with China.  He took a new initiative by visiting Pakistan to improve the India-Pakistan trade relationship affected by the 1971 Pakistan-India war.  When the Janata Party had RSS  He resigned as minister in 1979.  In 1980, the initiative to lay the foundation of the Bharatiya Janata Party was started by him and colleagues like LK Advani and Bhairo Singh Shekhawat from BJS and RSS.  Vajpayee was the president of this party for the first five years after its establishment.

As the Prime Minister of India  : –

 After the 1996 Lok Sabha elections, BJP got a chance to come to power and Atal Bihari Vajpayee was elected Prime Minister.  However, the government fell due to lack of majority and Vajpayee had to resign from the post of Prime Minister after just 13 days.

 In the 1998 elections, the BJP was again able to form a government with the National Democratic Alliance, a coalition supported by various parties, but this time the party was able to remain in power for only 13 months, because the All India Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam had its support from the government.  Took back.  NDA led by Vajpayee  The government conducted nuclear tests in Pokhran, Rajasthan in May 1998.

 After the 1999 Lok Sabha elections, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) succeeded in forming the government and Atal Bihari Vajpayee once again became the Prime Minister.  This time the government completed its five years and became the first non-Congress government to do so.  With strong support from allied parties, Vajpayee launched several schemes for economic reform and for the promotion of the private sector.  He attempted to limit the interference of states in the industrial sector.  Vajpayee encouraged research in the direction of foreign investment and in the field of information technology.  The Indian economy achieved rapid growth as a result of their new policies and ideas.  His government further strengthened bilateral relations by establishing friendly relations with Pakistan and the USA.  Although Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s foreign policies could not bring much change, these policies were still highly appreciated.

 After completing his five years NDA  The coalition landed with confidence in the 2005 election under Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s leadership, but this time under the leadership of the Congress, the UPA  The coalition achieved success and succeeded in forming the government.

 In December 2005, Atal Bihari Vajpayee announced his retirement from active politics.

personal life  : –

 Vajpayee remained unmarried all his life.  He adopted Namita Bhattacharya, daughter of Princess Kaul and BN Kaul.

The death  : –

 He suffered a stroke in 2009, after which his health continued to deteriorate.  On 11 June 2018, he was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), where on 16 August 2018 he went to the other world.  On August 17, his adopted daughter Namita Kaul Bhattacharya offered prayers.  His mausoleum has been erected at Smriti Sthal in Shanti Van near Rajghat.

Awards and honors  : –

 He was awarded the Padma Vibhushan award in the year 1992 due to his unprecedented services to the country.

 In 1993, he received the doctorate degree from Kanpur University.

 Atal Bihari Vajpayee was awarded the Lokmanya Tilak Award in the year 1994

 The Pandit Govind Vallabh Pant Award was also conferred in the year 1994.

 Honor of Best Parliamentarian in the year 1994.

 In 2015, he was awarded the Bharat Ratna, the country’s highest civilian honor.

 In 2015, the Liberation War Award was given by Bangladesh.
